I am preparing for a workshop that I’ll be facilitating next week at work on Gratitude. This quote keeps coming to me and I thought I’d share…

Sounds like the perfect prayer to me Lisa ~ Love this! x Robyn

It’s a great reminder, no?! I remember doing a meditation awhile back — a meditation about if you had one year to live, one month, one week, one day, one hour, one minute, one breath. and the first thing that came to me when I got to the last one — one breath, i uttered, “thank you.” so i guess that’s how i am living my life…one big thank you. or at least, trying. seeing it all as gift. i see that this is how you live, dear Robyn. you truly embody (and I mean that — emBODY — your body) this prayer. Love to you, Lisa

Thank you for this. So often I tell myself that I am praying “wrong” because I didn’t do it the way I was taught. Or if I wait until my head hits the pillow to pray, I just have enough energy to say something short and sweet before I fall asleep. I appreciate hearing that perhaps that is enough.
Thank you for your wise words and continued inspiration.

I hear you, Rachel. We get a lot of those messages! Ya know, that “short and sweet” prayer at the end of the night is gorgeous…it honors where we are at in our lives, in this season of our lives as parents. It is enough. And just beautiful. Love to you, Lisa
